Although we are based in Bella Vista, Arkansas, the Bella Vista Traveling Sams are anything but stationary. We organize and carry out 6 to 8 RV trips per year, usually to campgrounds within 1 or 2 hours of Bella Vista, with occasional longer trips.

Our campouts are planned by a Wagon Master and the plans typically include several optional group meals, tours of area attractions, games and other fun or educational activities. A statewide Good Sams RV Rally is held in late April of every year and is a joint event with Good Sams Clubs from multiple states.

We typically hold campouts for just our Bella Vista chapter alone in early April, then in May, June and July at various locations to be determined each fall for the following year. Our September campout each year is a "Friendship Rally" held jointly with the other two Good Sams Club Region One chapters in Northwest Arkansas (Rogers and Ft. Smith).

In the months when we do not travel, we have a club meeting or social event such as an August Ice Cream Social or a December Christmas Party.In the remaining months during which we do not have a campout planned we will typically have a luncheon meeting at a local restaurant, sometimes in conjunction with another chapter. ;
