Crossett, Arkansas

William G. Gilbert, age 75, of Crossett, AR passed away on September 12, 2012 at Ashley
County Medical Center. He was born on September 4, 1937 in Hope, AR to his parents,
Ansley Olen and Lillian Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was employed by the postal service for 32 years.
He had been a member of the Quorum Court and the Lions Club. Mr. Gilbert enjoyed
camping and fishing. Bill and his wife Pat ran the local Tasty Freeze
He was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Gilbert of Crossett, AR; three sons, Steve Gilbert,
Dana Gilbert, both of Hope, AR, Brice Gilbert of Crossett, AR; one daughter, Karen Russell
of Monticello, AR; one brother, James Gilbert of Midland, TX; six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
Memorial services and Arrangement were under direction of Jones Funeral Home Chapel.

Bill was a Long Time member of the Big Pine Sams, RV Club and will be missed at the
Lake Village Friendship, where the club usually sets up the Chinese Auction.
