William Victor Nery
January 9, 1939 - September 6, 2025
William ''Bill'' Victor Nery, resident
of Hot springs AR, went to his heavenly home
on September 6, 2025. Bill was born on January
9, 1939, in Chicago, IL to
Willard and Marie Nery.
Bill retired from the US Air Force as a
Vietnam Veteran, where he was a crew
chief for fighter jet planes. He also retired
from the San Diego Police Department
as a department supervisor. In his later years
he was the co-owner of
Professional Tours with his wife Dee.
Bill was very involved with his church,
First Freewill Baptist, and loved his church
family dearly. He loved the RV travel life and
is a lifetime member of the Good
Sam RV Club; where he spent 3 years on
staff and served 10 years as the
Director of the Arkansas chapter of Good Sam.
He also enjoyed assisting his
wife in the cruise industry. He was passionate
about cars, airplanes, trains,
clocks and all things military.
He is preceded in death by his parents,
sister Joyce Nery and daughter Jackie
Kyyra (Matt).
He is survived by his wife, Dee Nery of
Hot Springs, AR; daughters BJ Baxter of
Sherwood, AR, and Tiffani Shae Tate (Chris) of
Bono, AR; grandson Joseph
Baxter (Tonya) of Cabot, AR; granddaughter
Brittany Baxter Nelson (Jeff) of
Sherwood, AR; grandson Esvin Tate Pyles of
Bono, AR; grandchildren: Nick,
Heather, Brandon, and Justin of Rochester, MN;
as well as several great and
great-great grandchildren.
Bonus sons are AJ Trosclair (Karen) and
Robert Minnick (Karen).
Special honorary pallbearer is Larry
Collier.
Honorary pallbearers include: Wayne
Thomas, Ray Golbert, Doug Lutrell, John
Shuffield, Buddy Ray, George Prichett, Doug
Tinkle, James Hairston, and Jack
Godwin.
A memorial service will be held at First
Freewill Baptist Church in Hot Springs,
901 W St. Louis, on Wednesday, September 10th
at 1:00pm with Pastor Doug
Jones officiating and Pastor AJ Trosclair
assisting.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that Memorial Contributions be made to
First Freewill Baptist Church, 901 W. St.
Louis Street, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
