- This eternal flame burns forever
- in remembrance of Bonnie Jean Uphoff

Bonnie Jean Uphoff
1930 - 2017

Bonnie Uphoff Was Born In Wilburn, Il in 1930. During her first job after
Graduation, she worked with a girl named Opal, as a surprise, she set Bonnie
up with a blind date with her brother, Everett, on leave from the Navy. That
date lead to a 66 year marriage.

While Raising their four Daughters, Bonnie worked as a hair dresser, first
from home and later at a shop. Bonnie was famous for her Baking: Zucchini
Bread, Texas Cake and Brownies, were her specialties. She was also an
amazing seamstress, always sewing beautiful matching outfits for her
daughters and then her granddaughters. For over 20 years, Bonnie and
Everett were “Winter Texans” where they made many friends and worked on
many mission activities. Bonnie was always noticed for her spunky spirit, her
compassion for the ill and elderly and her willingness to volunteer to pitch
in when needed and before being asked. She loved to read, enjoyed family and
play games.

Bonnie and Everett retired to Heber Springs in 1986 and became members
of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by 4 daughters, 6
granddaughters, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson.

Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rest.
