Claude Allen Claire
February 4, 1942 - August 15, 2015

Claude Allen Claire, 73, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2015.
He was born February 4, 1942 in Mountain Pine to Claude Morris and F. Gladys Claire.
Claude was a member and Deacon of Jessieville First Baptist Church. He retired from
the United States Forest Service. Claude loved traveling and was an active member
of the Spa City Sams R.V. Club where he held several leadership roles.
He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in his shop woodworking.

He is predeceased by his father, Claude Morris Claire, mother, F. Gladys Harbin (Claire)
Hilton, his first wife, Sandra E. Claire, sister, Mary Gayle Hilton, brother, Ladoyette
“Peanut” Hilton, and step-father, Monroe “Buddy” Hilton.

Loving survivors include his wife of 40 years, Virlene Blocker Claire, son, Stephen Claire,
daughter, Stephanie Meredith, grandchildren, Bryan Claire and Hunter Meredith,
all of Hot Springs; and brother, Joe Ronnie Claire and his wife, Janice, of Buhl, Idaho.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Caruth Village
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 19 2015 at
Jessievile First Baptist Church with Brother Derek Combs officiating.

Pallbearers will be Deacons of Jessieville First Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers
include Hunter Meredith, Bryan Claire, Kevan Claire, Billy Robertson, Roger Robbins,
Bob Warner, Richard Moberly, Marvell Blocker, Keith Blocker and Gary Dorris.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the
Jessieville First Baptist Church’s Building Fund.
