Gerda Chopp passed from this life on Nov,12th 2009, to be with the Lord.
Gerda was born March,31st 1934 in Seigen, Germany and came to the U.S.
in 1958 where she worked hard to obtain her U.S.Citizenship.
Gerda was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, of Spooner, Wisconsin.
Gerda is survived by her Husband Jerry Chopp, one Son Brent Chopp & wife Mary of Spooner,Wisconsin,
one Daughter, Annette Hugen & Husband Daniel of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and
5 Grandchildren of which she was extremely proud.
Gerda & Jerry retired and moved to Omaha, Arkansas where they became members of the Good Sam Club
and The Arkansas Roadrunners Chapter. Gerda enjoyed Camping and being with her Good Sam Family.
Jerry met Gerda in Shell Lake, Wisconsin and the couple were married in June of 1960.
She was in Germany when life was really rough and told her Good Sam Family many stories
of her life there. Her Mother used to worry about her because her hair was black and in those
days that was not good. You needed to have blond hair to survive.
Gerda was a very sweet lady and will be sadly missed by all her Good Sam Family as well
as her biological family.

Services was held in Spooner, Wisconsin, Saturday, Nov, 21st at the Faith Lutheran Church,
followed by a short graveside service.

Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rest.
