Ilene O. Wages
April 27, 1926 - March 25, 2013
Ilene O’Mary Wages, 86, of Little Rock, formerly of Hampton, met her Lord
and Savior on Monday, March 25, 2013. Ilene is survived by Olan Wages,
her faithful husband of 66 years and by three loving daughters, Brenda Edge,
Marcia Hunt, and Kay Tibbs; three sons-in-law, James Edge, Tom Hunt,
and Russell Tibbs. Ilene loved her 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren;
Karon, Jim Caleb, Joshua, and Hannah Whitmore; Scott Edge; Kristi, Michael,
Kali, McKensi, and Karly Tucker; Tommy, Amber, and Adley Hunt; Josh, Alisa,
and Jeffrey Tibbs, Candice Tibbs and Derick Adams; siblings; Simmie O’Mary,
Rachel O’Mary Watson and family.
Mrs. Wages was preceded in death by her parents, Madison and Dora O’Mary;
brothers, Thomas, George, Noah, and Marion O’Mary and sisters, Lesta Mae Gorman,
Sallie Gentry and Ruby Lookadoo.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013 at Roller-Owens
Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116
(501-791-7400) with Tom Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State
Veterans’ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday,
March 28, 2013 at the funeral home.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the
Second Baptist Church, 1117 North James St., Jacksonville, AR 72076.
Ilene was a member of Rags (Retired Arkansas Good Sams Chapter) An RV Travel Group.

Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rest.
