Died January 29, 2017

Joe Thaddeus Rodgers, 80, departed this life January 29, 2017 in Little Rock
surrounded by his wife and children. He was born to Buren Clay and Virginia
Emelie Gray Rodgers on June 22, 1936 in Jessup, Arkansas. Joe T.
graduated from Lyon College in Batesville with a BS in Business and Math.

He moved to Clinton in 1961 with his family to pursue a career in the poultry
industry. Joe T. then pursued other business ventures including the Best
Western Hillside Inn. He was an active member of the Pee Dee Baptist
Church where he especially loved his Sunday School class.

Joe T. was a member of the Shriners, Patterson Masonic Lodge #111, and
Sugarloaf Good Sams RV Club. He served on the Ozark Health Foundation
Board, Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, and was the past President of
the Arkansas Jaycees.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bee Rodgers and stepson Bill Ticer.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Virginia Ticer Rodgers, children;
Joe Tod Rodgers and wife Pat of Willow Park, Texas, Lori Rodgers Blagg
and husband Ralph of Clinton, Memory Rodgers Passmore and husband
Maurice of Choctaw, grandchildren Trace and wife Julie, Taylor Rodgers,
and Lance and Logan Blagg, great grandchildren Scarlett and Nora, stepson
Bobby Ticer and wife Joanna, step daughter-in-law Marie Ticer, step grand
children Joseph, Jared, Jamie, and Jennifer Ticer and step grandson, Kevin Blagg.

Pall Bearers include Wendell Cassell, Phillip Ellis, Arlis Gray, Jimmy Kidd,
Don Richardson, and Ferrell Weaver. Honorary Pall Bearers are Steve Bone,
Chip Ellis, Ben Mays, Ted O'Neal, John Patterson, Clay Rodgers, and the
entirety of the Pee Dee Baptist Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the
Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services are to
be at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Pee Dee Baptist
Church, 2744 Highway 16 East, Clinton, Arkansas. Interment will follow at
3:00 pm at the Oaklawn Cemetery, at the corner of Sidney Street and
Myers Street in Batesville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ozark Health Foundation,
PO Box 74 Clinton, Arkansas, 72031 or Pee Dee Baptist Church Building
Fund, 2744 Highway 16 East, Clinton, Arkansas, 72031.

Final arrangements are entrusted to the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
