Willie Joe Stropes, 68, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away December 16, 2012.
He was the Owner and Operator of Joe's Body Shop for 38 years and served in the
National Guard for 6 years. He was a Baptist.
He was born to Willie and Goldie Stropes, December 21, 1943 in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his only brother.
He is survived by his wife and caregiver, Sandra Forrester;
two daughters, Lisa Page and Jennifer McGill;
four grandsons, Hunter and Joey McGill, Zachary and John Page;
one nephew, John Stropes (Debbie); one stepson, Lance Hawkins (Kelsey);
granddaughter, Amber Redden, one great-granddaughter, Kimber Redden
and many friends.
Memorials may be sent to Marion United Methodist Church or a charity of donor's choice.
Interment will be at Boliver Cemetery in Harrisburg Arkansas.
Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
