Larry William Welsh, 71 of Sherwood, passed away Thursday morning in Sherwood, AR.,
He was born on November 17, 1939 in North Little Rock, he was the son of William Welsh
and Cleo-Douglass Welsh.

Larry was raised in the Rose City area of North Little Rock and was a truck driver for over
fifty years, spending twenty-eight years with Orbit Valve and twelve years with Wal-Mart;
he loved camping and traveling in his RV, and visiting with his many friends and family.
Larry was a member of the La Petite Roche Sams, a Goodsams RV Club

He is preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Read, a sister Mildred Pruss, and his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife Janet Welsh of Sherwood; son Timothy William Welsh and
wife Tammy of Conway; grandchildren Lauren Read, Allison Read, and Daniel Read of Milan,
TN and Derek Hutchins of Conway; a brother Donald G. Welsh and his wife Mavis Welsh of
Maumelle and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church
of Sherwood. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at
Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
