E.L. "Mac" McDowell

E.L. Mac McDowell, of Topeka, passed away November 28, 2013.
Mac was born May 16, 1934, son of R.V. and Margaret McDowell.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mac was a member
of the Masonic Lodge, and retired from ABF Freight Systems
after a 30 plus year career in the freight industry.
Mac married Judy Phillips on December 2, 1956. She preceded him in death
in 2012. Also preceding him in death were his parents and only sibling, Marilyn Harlow.

Mac is survived by his sons, Kevin (Ann) McDowell, Topeka, and Craig (Julie) McDowell, Rossville
six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at
Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.

Mac was a Past Director of Area Six, of the Arkansas Goodsams.
