Norma Ruth Treat
Born: August 28, 1942
Died: January 27, 2014

Norma passed away in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was born August 28, 1942 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to the Earnest and Ruby LaBass.

She married James Everett Treat, Jr on October 1, 1960,
at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

She was a 1960 graduate and Valedictorian of Muldrow High School,
was the window clerk for the Muldrow Post Office for 30 years and a member
of First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow for 54 years.

Norma was a Master Gardener for River Valley Master Gardener and
a member of the Rose Society of Fort Smith

She was a wonderful Christian woman, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of the Belle Point Sam Chapter of Fort Smith.

She is survived by:
Her loving husband of 52 years, James Everett Treat.
1 son: Michael Treat;
2 daughters: Lisa Bertie & Melinda Treat and 5 Grandchildren
1 brother: Donald LaBass

A Memorial Service and burial of remains was conducted on January 29, 2014
at the Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rest.
