Rocky Joe Messina, age 67, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, January 2, 2014.
He was born on July 23, 1946 in Pine Bluff, the son of Charles Philip Messina and
Josephine Russo Messina. On December 15, 1966, he was married to Linda Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles "Buddy" Messina.
Rocky attended Joplin Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his family dearly.
His greatest joy was his grandson Wyatt, and he will be missed greatly.
He is survived his wife of 47 years, Linda Messina of Hot Springs;
his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Jennifer Messina of Hot Springs;
his daughter, Angela Taylor of Benton;
his grandson, Wyatt Messina of Hot Springs;
one sister and brother-in-law, Marie and G.C Watts of Little Rock;
nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2013
in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. David Steele officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
