Willene Barnett Stinson, age 86, of Crossett, AR passed away on June 6, 2016
at Audrey’s Special Home. She was born on January 18, 1930 in Crossett, AR
to her parents, Leonard Elzie and Ollie Mae Doss Barnett.

Mrs. Stinson was a homemaker and a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church.
She was a member of Ashley County Extension Homemakers Club; a long time
member and past treasurer of Ashley County Fair Board. Her family was her life.
Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, quilting, knitting, RV camping, fishing
and gospel singing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Melvin Franklin, Leroy Barnett,
Norris Barnett, Willie Mac Barnett; sisters, Hazel Schichtel, Ione Barnett and
Martha Ingram and two granddaughters, infant baby Hopkins and Tammy “Sissy” Hopkins.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, James C. Stinson of Crossett, AR;
one son Wayland J. Stinson (Margaret) of Crossett, AR;
two daughters, Claudia Horton (Ray Gene) of Monticello, AR, Wanda McHan of
Crossett, AR; sister, Violet Ross of Pine Bluff, AR; five grandchildren, Jamie
Hopkins (Laurie), Marka Cutrell, Gina Lawrence (Jonathon), Jennifer Arce
(Gaudencio), Lindsay Stinson and six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jeremy,
Justin, Connor, Nataleigh and Haven.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at
Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Griffith, Bro. Andy Connard and
Bro. Lloyd Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery
under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the
funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Cemetery, C/O Keith Barnett,
1710 Parkway, Crossett, AR 71635.
